Daniel S. Davis co-founded Davis & Gelshenen LLP in 2002 and has been practicing law for over 25 years. He is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio and has argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Dan has been recognized as a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and SuperLawyers. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Illinois Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, American Association for Justice and the Wisconsin Association of Justice.
Dan has worked in-house for a major insurance provider, and for one of the nation’s largest insurance law firms. Those experiences gave him in-depth understanding of the way insurance companies operate; he puts that background to work for his personal injury and real estate clients every day.
Dan received his Juris Doctor (law degree) from the University of Kansas. While at Kansas, Dan served as an intern for both the Kansas State Legislature and the Kansas Defender Project.
Dan received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ripon College with a double-major in Economics and Politics & Government. While at Ripon College, Dan was awarded membership in Omicron Delta Epsilon, an honor society in economics. Dan was also a four-year starter and two-year captain on the Ripon College Basketball Team.
Dan proudly served in the United States Army Reserve as an officer in the Military Police branch.
